The Earlville Galleries are now accepting proposals for solo artist exhibitions for the 2016 season. The Earlville Galleries annually present 14 solo exhibitions of regional and national contemporary visual artists in all media. High quality work by professional and emerging artists who live part-time or full-time in the Central New York region is given priority, but artists from other areas of New York and other states are also considered. The deadline for submissions is Friday, May 1, 2015.

Digital submissions are preferred, but slides are also accepted. All media and styles are considered, as are installations and proposals by curators. Email submissions are not accepted. Detailed submission guidelines and instructions can be found under the Artists & Musicians tab on the EOH website at earlvilleoperahouse.com. A professional panel juries all submissions, and for each exhibit the Earlville Galleries provide publicity, invitations to the show and reception, a printed list of the work on exhibit, an artist’s statement or resume, and insurance of the artwork while on exhibit. Artwork can be for sale or not, and EOH collects commission and sales tax on all sales.

The Earlville Galleries are an integral part of the multi-arts programming at the Earlville Opera House and are funded, in part, by the New York State Council on the Arts. Gallery hours are 10-5 Tues-Fri and 12-3 on Saturdays. The Galleries are also open during all performances in the historic theater. Gallery diagrams are available upon request.
