Award-Winning Theater & Dance Company TREEHOUSE SHAKERS at the Earlville Opera House

shakers image1Join Treehouse Shakers, an award-winning dance and theater company, with their newest work, Under the Tangle, performed live at the Earlville Opera House Saturday July 16 at 7 PM. Choreographed and directed by Emily Bunning, Under the Tangle takes family audiences on a theatrical journey that is filled with surprise, wonder and discovery.

Visually vibrant, Under the Tangle is the original performance about an adolescent girl who becomes ensnared in a labyrinth after the sudden loss of her parents. Recommended for ages 5 and up, this visual and artistic adventure exposes emotions of loneliness, hope, and accomplishment, as a metaphor for adolescence. Under the Tangle is a performance must-see to be enjoyed and delighted by the adventurer in us all.

In addition to the live performance of Under the Tangle, the Earlville Opera House is pleased to partner with the Earlville Free Library on two free workshops! Workshop 1, a painting workshop with art teacher Margaret Fetzko will be held Friday, July 8 from 2 pm to 3 pm, with Workshop 2, a poetry-storytelling workshop led by Summer Reading Coordinator Angelica Chapman, on Friday, July 15 from 2 pm to 3 pm.

The Treehouse Shakers perform Saturday July 16th at 7:00 PM. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $15 to the general public, $10 for members, and $8 for students and children (under 18). The Earlville Opera House is wheelchair-accessible with a ramp and a lift. For more information, call 315-691-3550 or visit
