The Hamilton Arts in the Park Series concludes another season of talented musicians, ranging from jazz gems to country roots, with Ellen Fagan Thursday August 11th at 7 PM.
Fagan combines her natural love of the folk music tradition, with its use of familiar imagery and song structure, with her unique perspective to produce engaging songs that expand the genre. Her style ranges from gentle to fierce, sometimes in the span of a single song.
For more than a decade, Arts in the Park has provided area residents with an opportunity to enjoy free live music and participate in the arts community in the heart of downtown Hamilton. This season’s offerings focus around the theme of “Conversations through Music,” and run the gamut from roots to jazz, and bluesy Americana to indie folk.
Hamilton Arts in the Park is presented by the Village of Hamilton and co-presented by the Earlville Opera House. The Village of Hamilton is grateful for funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by CNY Arts.
