The Earlville Opera House is thrilled to announce its 2017 Main Stage Series, featuring a dynamic lineup of beloved musical icons and new favorites. Doors open May 26 with rising indie songwriter Joe Pug, and season highlights include Carrie Rodriguez September 16, who’s album Lola was one of NPR’s “Top 50 Albums of 2016,” and folk singer-songwriter Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul, and Mary fame on August 12, both sponsored by WAER FM 88.3.
Long recognized for our commitment to the traditions of Americana music, the EOH is proud to host blues star Chris Thomas King June 2, and the Women of Folk on July 15, featuring Sloan Wainwright, Lucy Wainwright Roche, and Suzzy Roche. Both events are sponsored by Preferred Mutual.
Fans of Celtic music won’t be disappointed, as the EOH proudly hosts The Jeremiahs, “one of the freshest bands in Irish traditional music” (Irish Music Magazine), on July 1, sponsored by Bruce Ward, Architect. Additionally, Live Ireland Radio’s “2016 New Group of the Year” Cassie and Maggie MacDonald will grace our stage September 22 for a night of rollicking Celtic originals and old-favorites.
